Enhance Subnational Government and Community Resilience to Climate Change and Weather-Related Natural Disasters

Under Task 2 APIK focuses on local government and community capacity building, using entry-points such as local government working groups and community-based vulnerability mapping to convene stakeholders and facilitate planning and actions that strengthen landscape, socioeconomic, and institutional resilience. The place-based interventions under Task 2 are linked to and enabled by a strengthened national enabling environment (Task 1), relevant climate and disaster information at the subnational and community level (Task 3), and the engagement of the private sector around shared risks (Task 4).
